Question

My employer has a mandatory program to test for drugs and alcohol after every work related accident. Will it effect my workers' compensation claim if I refuse to undergo this testing?
Answer

Yes. The workers' compensation law indicates that an employee's refusal to submit to a chemical test at the request of the employer shall result in the forfeiture of benefits under the Workers' Compensation Act.
